At Poroti School, we are doing Garden to Table on Tuesdays. There are three groups-Kitchen, Media+Craft, and, (of course) in the garden! The groups are  made of our house groups- Kowhai, Kauri, and Rimu. In the Media+Craft room, Kowhai are making pot hangers to decorate the front of the school planted with colourful bulbs. Rimu was in the kitchen making delicious potato wedges, from the potatoes we harvested last week from the garden. Kauri was in the garden making compost bins to make soil for our gardens. I am in Kowhai making the pot hangers. We switch around every week, making sure we all get a turn at everything.
